This blog provides free public books, articles, lectures, video, naat, Quran tafseer, history, educational stories and other media content on Islam and Politics, especially with reference to Pakistan. The reason behind is that politics and religion have been intertwined both conceptually and practically in Islam. Because our beloved prophet Muhammad (PBUH) established government in Medina, precedents of governance and taxation exist. Religion and statehood have been and should be treated as one.

Dr. Aafia Siddiqui in 1991 on the rights of women
What an eye opening speech by Dr. Aafia Siddiqui in 1991 on the rights of women. This highly educated Pakistani intellect, in her speech debated on the Education rights of a women. She said:
"... it is so easy today for anyone and everyone to come up to a woman and say: Hey This is Islam. And what was the poor woman say: Aa Manna O Sadaq Na. I Believe. Because she doesn't know any better.Download
Her basic right, (or) I should say her duty, of Education (both) Religious and Secular, has been taken away from her (and) what is the result? Brothers and Sisters, this right of education, by taking it away from women, what do we see?
If a women has messed up ideas, non Muslim ideas, or if she is totally ignorant. In either case can she be expected to raise a child the model of a perfect Muslim. of course not...."
